  "We stayed for 2 nights and loved it. Some of the reviewers says the place is out dated, but it's upper Michigan. We loved it. The Knotty Pine walls and ceilings were great. They have a very nice Rec Room also. Staff was very friendly and the price was not to bad for a stand alone."

We stayed in the upstairs suite, which is large and comfortable. They have nice features for winter guests - a heated room for..." drying outdoors clothes, including boot driers, and a hot tub out on the deck (very fun on a 10 degree night). Solid WiFi signal upstairs if you need that. Hosts Jamey and Lois are friendly and helpful, and prepare a grand breakfast. Another very nice touch - 7 AM coffee delivery to your door.   "Went there mid April with lots of snow on the ground. The rooms were spacious and clean. The only problem was the water in the shower was very sensitive. Any slight change of the shower handle the temp wild change drastically. Watch out! The view was amazing! If we travel to Grand Marais again w..."e will stay here! " More >
