We arrived fairly late and had to leave early the next morning, so unfortunately I cannot give a "full" review since our actual time at the hotel was brief. Overall, the rooms were clean and comfortable. I really liked the "feel" of the hotel..." -- somewhat of a motel/hotel combination with both exterior and interior access to rooms. They help us by offering many discount packages. We don't have any kids, but do enjoy seeing the children hav..."e fun. The restrooms & showers are always clean. Every trip here has been quiet & restful. We have our own pop up camper & have had no trouble with the camping spaces. The fact that it is up away from the main road makes for a better experience.   "I stayed several nights at this hotel while attending an event at Purina Farms. They do allow pets and seem to work often with Purina for their larger events. The rooms were quiet for the most part, although my friend at first experienced a different hotel. She was initially given a room with lar..."ge glass doors that overlooked the "Fun Dome" (an area with a swimming pool, hot tub, shuffle board, tiki bar, etc.). She had dogs with her on the trip, and quite frankly we didn't understand why they put someone with dogs alongside an area of the hotel that had so much activity, because it made the dogs nuts. She changed rooms shortly after checking in when she realized the Fun Dome would be a problem for the dogs. Later, she told me the staff was very helpful when it came to finding her another room and getting her stuff moved to the new room. The hotel itself has an old-world sort of castle feel to it, but I guess it is keeping in theme with the nearby Six Flags. The rooms are clean... " More >
