  "In our opinion you will not find a better B&B in the region. Coming from Canada and not being very comfortable with the French language we thought we might have problems. Any concerns were diminished by Marie-Christine, Philippe and Laura, who were very gracious and helpful during our stay. Altho..."ugh English is not their first language they understand it and speak it fairly well. On numerous occasions they provided us with information on the area and how to get to various sites. We also received information as to where to eat and they would phone for reservations. They keep the rooms exceptionally clean and the linen and towels were changed everyday. The room we had was large, with plenty of closet space, nice shower and bathroom area, a large bed, French TV and WiFi. The site is quite large with a lawn and pond area on one side and a lawn, garden and pool area on the other. We did not use the pool since it was rather cool when we stayed there.   "We cannot say enough good things about Barbara and Andrea, and their wonderful home at L'Ombriere. It was the perfect place for our short honeymoon offering us as much relaxation, rest, beauty and good food as you could possibly hope for. Barbara's breakfasts were divine, especially the raspberry ..."muffins!, and we were so lucky to be given the opportunity to eat at L'Ombriere one evening. One of the best meals we had whilst in the region. Andrea is full of helpful information about the area, with lots of ideas of places to go and things to see whilst also up to date with any special events that might be taking place. His knowledge left us safely in his hands as we planned our activities! Definitely take notice of their recommendations on restaurants as well, they are all well worth a visit!
