Oia (Eeah) is in our view the nicest and has the benefits of both a view towards the volcano and adjacent islands and the sunset. We did quite a bit of research before selecting Fanari as it is quite possible to be confused by the various descriptions of caldera view, sunset view, sea view etc. From the photographs a lot of the hotels seem to have the same view which you appreciate when you are here because many are right next to or above an below each other on the cliff face.
