I had a piece of warm "Fruits of the Forrest" pie for desert and the crust literaly melted in my mouth. The coffee was delicious and piping hot. Yummmm. We had a non-smoking room in the Original part. Casino : The only off-putting was the cigarette smell in the casino. There was a small (tiny) room in the huge casino for non-smokers.   "This is our favorite hotel & casino to visit (except for when in Las Vegas). We stay here 3 to 4 times a year. There are 3 other hotel casinos near us but I perfer driving the extra 1 1/2 hours to go here. Great comp points as we have never had to pay for a room. This last trip my wife received $100..." in playing money and 75 comp points. The cafe food is average, the buffet food is not very good, reminds me of the Ponderosa from years ago. However since we had so many comp points we decided to eat in the Western Door Steakhouse. What a great choice. it is expensive and sides all cost extra. But the service is 5 star and the food was un-believable. Wife had NY strip and I had pork tenderloins. Was the best I think I have ever had. Love the 2 hot tubs, especially the one outside (enjoyed watching it snow while in the hot tub). The pool is always clear and luke warm. The rooms are beautiful and large, only con was the mattress was to hard for me. " More >
