  "I stayed here for a few days for hockey. Very comfortable rooms. The restaurant is good, espeially the breakfasts. The building is very well heated and comfortable - very important as outside temperatures got down to minus 40 degrees"

  "We stayed there for several nights at end March/beginning April. We stayed in two different rooms and they were both very nice. Good beds. Our stay was prolonged involuntarily due to the closure of the Dempster for five days. The staff was very helpful with our needs. The restaurant (Tonimoes), we w..."ere told, does not belong to the hotel, although it is in the same building. The food there is very nice and not so heavy (both in the cooking and in the size of the meals). The staff is very pleasant. As we spent a few additional nights, we were regular guests at Tonimoes and tried most of the meals on the menu, including some interesting specials. Having also stayed at two of the other hotels in town, I would say that the Mackenzie is in my opinion the best hotel with easily the best restaurant in town. " More >
