(Obviously, staying on a Monday evening was much quieter than a weekend - but we prefer that. We didn't get musical entertainment but instead got entertained by interesting conversations with our hosts.) Our evening meal was delicious and the food, plentiful. Breakfast was also great - the French toast was the best we've ever eaten. Our log cabin accommodations were quite comfortable and the fireplace kept us cozy all night. We were treated like special guests, welcomed like part of the family. We felt immersed in the history and culture of this traditional French Canadian historic landmark.
