  "It's been a year or so since my last visit to Thirsk on business and again my first point of call was to book with Val at Laburnum House for a week as my last stay was so special. Again, i was greeted by Val, and a newly revamped entrance hall. Nothing wrong with it last time might i add but Val's h..."igh standards are always being pushed. I booked a room for 1 with a double bed and en-suite, fabulous room, light and fresh which after working several long days it made for relaxing evenings, along with a new Orangery room which was was available to use at any time. Anyone who works away will tell you comforts are what you need and at Laburnum House you cant go wrong, Large TV in my room as well as the one in the Orangery, comfy furniture and a peaceful garden area to relax in when the sun comes out.
