  "Our oldest son and his wife gave us two nights stay at the Crestmont Inn as a Christmas gift. It was through Groupon. We got two nights stay, plus two dinners and two breakfasts included. Our room was really lovely- nicely decorated and roomy. The food was just wonderful, and our host and wait staff..." were friendly and very helpful in answering our questions about the local attractions. I felt almost like I was on the set of the "Dirty Dancing" movie set with the game room, screened-in porch, older-style building and decor. Since we visited at the end of April, there weren't a lot of people around, so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Very relaxing. I would highly recommend this place for anyone.   "We stayed at the eagles mere inn in sept 2011 for my husbands birthday-absolutely loved it! Stayed in room 12 in the cottage-very inviting and loved the sleep number mattress. Breakfast and 5 course dinner was awesome- had to buy a mug to take home with me as a memory! The fresh salmon was superb...". The pub was awesome too. Husband and I love beer so we were happy to try their extensive beer list- over 100 beers! Van Wagner played folk music during our stay and we loved it. Everyone at the inn was very welcoming and helpful. We planned our own wine tour and staff helped us find directions to the wineries and even called ahead to let them know we were coming. The hiking package was perfect for us. We used the hiking guide that was part of the package to plan our hikes for the day at worlds end state park. Beautiful views from the canyon vista and great picnic lunch packed by the inn staff. Love eagles mere and can't wait to return to this staycation- as it is only an hour... " More >
