  "We really liked staying at this hotel. The room was small, but the bed was very comfortable. The jacuzzi was great. The t.v. had bad signal, so don't expect too much. Had a nice fridge and a microwave. Overall very nice. Close to everything."

We were booked in the back portion of the hotel but we did not regret it because we have the whole view of the lake and the Pocono mountains every time we come out from our room to the balcony, or even looking through the glass doo..."r, if our drapes are drawn. The hotel is situated in higher grounds so you can see the highway below it. It has nice spots outside the area where you can take souvenir shots. It was really cool during that time and you really feel cool looking at the mountains and the breeze from the lake. We were told that if it was winter time the mountains would not be green,but white, because that would be time for skiing. The only negative thing was the staff, they don't clean well, they are not even friendly,they just look at you, not minding you at all. " More >

  "I just got home from my stay at the Chateau. I have been coming here for a few years now to the June Nascar race. Last year when I checked out I booked the same room for this year. When I arrived I was put in a room on the first floor instead of the third in my usual room. I was shocked because ..."I was not informed of this prior to coming. I even called to confirm the room and was told everything was all set. I travel a long way and want to keep coming to the Chateau, but when your room is given away that you booked one year in advance is not a good policy. I have never come across this at any other hotel. " More >
