  "We had a lovely stay in The Old Coffee House Our room overlooked the street but wasn`t too noisy as the traffic calms down in the evening. We had a nice breakfast in the morning and our hosts were friendly."

Originally booked a double room, however rang the day before we arrived to change to a twin room and this was catered for without problem! As mentioned in other reviews, it could do with a lick of fresh paint here and there, but we found ..."it quite charming. The twin room was big and had two very comfortable beds & down pillows & duvet (so comfy my mum declared it the best nights sleep she's had for a while- and she's fussy!) The three course dinner on the first night was fantastic value, a large choice of food from the entire menu - no silly set menu to choose from. We opted for prawn cocktail & stuffed mushrooms to start, followed by wild mushroom risotto with chicken & steak & ale pie, for pud warm sugared waffle with chocolate sauce & ice cream and warm choc brownie with blueberries & champagne ice cream.
