  "If you go to Monument Valley, there is only one place to stay, the View Hotel. The views are spectacular (hence the name) and the sunrise from our balcony was amazing. The food in the restaurant is better than it needs to be, and we highly recommend the Navajo tacos."

  "Great location, clean rooms, nothing fancy, spectacular views. But make sure that you are getting a room in the main lodge, not the duplexes half a mile down the road. We stopped to check availability for the night, and the clerk explained that there was one room left, so we took it. Only later i..."n the check-in process did he explain that we were not going to be in the main lodge where the office was located, but in an area where the campground was located. We did drive to see the duplexes, which appeared to us to be dormitories or apartments for employees or extended stays. In any event, the area was not appealing to us, and did not have a view, as described. We returned to the main desk to return the keys, intent on finding another hotel. To his credit, the clerk reassigned us to a room in the main hotel, and we had a very nice stay. " More >
