  "I recently stayed at Juniper Inn from May 28-30.It was a very pleasant experience. After what I read, I wasn't sure what to expect. What we got was a wonderful adventure. It is a great Inn with a great deal of history, Calvin Coolidge , Ernest Hemingway, George Clooney just to name a few. They have ..."wonderful art everywhere to gaze at. We had room 2, it was full of gorgeous light from the balcony, Jim made us a fire each night in our fireplace. Jim and Tracy Carlton are the Innkeepers for the owners, they are down to earth and loved showing us around giving us a history lesson on this grand old Inn. Tracy cooked a wonderful breakfast each morning, also a great dinner of pork loin for my friend Maureen and I had squash ravioli with a bernaise sauce which was outstanding. If your looking for a Ritz Carlton, this is not the Inn for you. But if you want a warm, down to earth experience with real caring people who care and enjoy this wonderful Inn, this is the place for you. We will return... " More >

  "My boyfriend and I were treated like we were part of the family. We got there and were greeted with warm smiles. We had the honeymoon suite. My boyfriend was never in Vermont. We walked by the lake which was beautiful. We relaxed for a bit and then my boyfriend wanted to walk to the gazebo. It ..."took about 20 minutes but it was worth the walk. We got to the gazebo and he hands me a note and apologized for waiting so long to do this. At the end of the note he said can I ask you a question? So I said what is the question. He hands me another note and it says "Will you marry me" of course my answer was yes. I couldn't be happier. When we first arrived he was my boyfriend now he is my fiancé. We made the long walk back and I was just so excited. Michelle and everyone knew he was doing this. They greeted us with hugs and congratulations. My mom was so excited and happy for us.
