The portara is illuminated at night and when I can't sleep I go out on the balcony and am so grateful to be there once more. The price this year was 35 euros a night for a double room. The owner has put in a number of improvements and so we had a four poster bed and television and air conditioning although we didn't need to use this. Walking up through the tiny alleyways is lovely and I don't think we 've ever been the same way twice. I feel very safe in Naxos and even though there are a large number of places to stay I don't want to try anywhere else. " More >

Starting with waiting us at the ferry in the middle of the night, providing us with beach items from her small shop, recommending us where to go (on Naxos, but olso on Paros island), what to visit or just talking about Greece she was always ready to support her guests.
