Pros: pool area was good and not crowded. Access to shops, restaurants and parking were all good. Staff all very pleasant and efficient. Cons: lifeless bar area. Inadequate storage in room and badly situated above refuse collection which was noisy early each morning. Hotel's private beach didn't appear to be open and sand arrived towards the end of our stay to transform the stony area into a sandy cove.   "We stayed in the ROC apartments for 7 days this May 2013. When we arrived we checked in to a spacious but a little bit outdated apartment. The view from the balcony wasn't great so we asked to be moved to another room where we could see the sea. We had to wait another day but were then kindly accom..."modated by David, the head receptionist to a room with a very nice view out to the pool and the sea and marina. We had 2 big double bedrooms, a spacious kitchen (with a toaster, oven, grill, electric kettle), a dining and living room area and a big balcony. The bathrooms were big and very clean. The towels (which were plenty) were changed every second day. The cleaners brushed and mopped and tidied up the apartment every third day which was perfect. The furniture has certainly seen better times but everything was spotlessly clean and the apartments were very spacious. The staff was at all times very helpful, kind and friendly. From the moment you enter you are greeted with courtesy and professionalism (and a lovely glass of cava). The newly renovated rooms are fabulous (this time w..."e stayed on the same floor as the main reception and had a wonderful view of the Bay of Palma. The quality of food and service in the restaurant is fantastic and the service is atentive and friendly, both at dinner and breakfast - we highly recommend half board - it is fabulous value for money. All the public areas inside and out are spotless and well staffed and the spa is lovely. We are lucky enough to spend a lot of time in Mallorca and would never miss an opportunity to stay at this hotel.
