  "My husband and I stayed here May 3/4, 2013 as we had some shopping to do in Lynnwood--we had stayed here before and loved the location (close to Alderwood Mall and other shopping). We did NOT book ahead and yet they happened to still have rooms available on the weekend, of which we were grateful. We..." paid just over $100 for the night (just over $120 with taxes). There is a manager's reception in the evening (which we just missed) and breakfast which are included. The breakfast was great--waffles, eggs, fruit, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, pastries and all kinds of breads, coffee/teas/juices. It is often busy in the morning and you are lucky to find a seat. There is some outdoor seating now, which is great. The rooms (although not large) have been nicely redone, with a small fridge, coffee maker, and microwave. The bed is wonderfully comfortable!! It is clean and the staff are extremely friendly. We found this hotel to have great value...and it's within walking distance to the mall and Star... " More >

  "This is a standard Embassy Suites: clean, pleasant, and comfortable. It has all the normal ES amenities, i.e., the managers' reception, free breakfast, all-suite rooms, reasonably prices, etc., that you already know about if you've ever stayed at an ES before (or read their website). So, I'll just..." mention the few things that stood out to me in relation to this particular hotel. First, they had a very nice little workout room that had both cardio machines and free weights. It was clean and well-maintained, and it had windows looking out both on the outside and the adjoining pool area (which is a nice change from the windowless cells that often constitute hotel exercise rooms). Second, the location was convenient to the freeway and seemed pretty centrally located to shopping/dining, etc. in the area. That said, the building itself is in an uninteresting office park. Just fine for the business traveler. I'll also note that the staff was very pleasant all-around. " More >
