There is a Texas Road House and Culver's across the intersection, and it is only a few blocks from Miesfeld's Meats, which makes the best bratwurst in Sheboygan, the Bratwurst Capital of America.   "I stayed here for 4 days while working with a client in the area. It was my fifth visit to this particular hotel. After 5 of the better visits I've ever made to hotels around the Great Lakes states, I feel compelled to say a few words about the facility. It's probably the closest feeling to home ..."of any place I've stayed in recent years...yet I can't put my finger on exactly why. In any case, it's very clean, it is comfortable, and most of the staff I've encountered seem determined to make my stays a pleasure. I wish the hot tub was a bit larger, but that's a pretty minor issue for me. Most of my needs are met within the hotel. The few that aren't are easily fulfilled within a block or two, as this seems to be the downtown area of the city. " More >
