  "North shore is much nicer than Waikiki as far as it not being so crowded, however there isn't that much out here other than nice beaches / places to relax, which is nice, particularly if you have been at busy Waikiki previously. Turtle bay grounds are lovely, restaurants are quiet nice and staff wer..."e really lovely however the rooms are in desperate need of a makeover, they are very old. Once the upgrade is complete hopefully this will make a real difference. The beach cottages were a little nicer (though more expensive) and very private. Didn't see the beach villas up close. The spa was lovely (has been renovated). Breakfast is a little lacking in choices but overall ok. All the bars, like all these package hotels seem to only serve pre mix cocktails. " More >

  "I'd go back again tomorrow if I could"
  "wow, I guess my expectations were low after a. reading the reviews here and b. staying in a 3-star in Waikiki.....but this was just about heaven. My friend and I stayed in an oceanfront room that was breathtakingly beautiful. it overlooked the little beach cove and was perfect to fall asleep to ..."because the ocean pounds the rocks below the window. the rooms are big and airy and clean. the elevators are fast. the parking is free. there are a million beaches to drive/walk to around the hotel so if you get bored with the little cove, go forth! the staff was amazingly nice. When we checked out and were asked how our stay was, I responded, "Wonderful!" and the guy gave us two free drink coupons on the way out the door! Scott, the bartender at the pool bar, is the best bartender ever and just so nice and entertaining. the fish tacos here are SO GOOD! they need more hot sauce varieties though. they have entertainment every sunset at the pool bar - which by the way, has the best views every...
