We also had a great view of the Chinaman's Hat. The beach area at the resort wasn't great. The sandy area was covered in leaves and tree debris. The kids didn't use their sand toys. They did enjoy the pool and hot tub area. We were always the only ones using it, so it was like a private pool. There is a lot in the immediate area. We visited the Kualoa Regional Park and drove a bit further up to the Polynesian Cultural Center. The town of Kaneohe was only a few minutes away, and we were able to buy food and prepare meals in our room. We had a two bedroom suite.
