But it is only a ten minute drive. Amazing how these motels have gone from a barebones continental breakfast to complete hot breakfast. Makes for an easy start to the day. Especially love the waffle machine, which mildly automates the process and produces a good, hot waffle. The sheets and linens were very nice. Bathrooms were very clean and updated a bit. In my opinion the Canyon Inn is a great al..."ternative to the typical hotel experience. It did feel like a home away from home. The owners were very pleasant, flexible, and personable. Having 24hr access to the kitchen for meal preparation was also a plus.
