  "We are a family of 2 adults and 2 teenage girls from Australia who stayed at Yosemite Lodge at the falls for 2 nights in APril 2013 in a family room. We booked online exactly a year before our trip to ensure we got a family room and it was fantastic! We drove from Fresno and arrived about 3pm. They ..."checked us in and said our room would be ready in about an hour. We went to the food court for a snack and came back and got our keys about 4.30pm. This family room is HUGE! It was on the second floor of the building right next to reception so we were right in the middle of things but were never disturbed by noise. The room had a huge kingsize bed as well as 2 single beds plus a diningroom area and loungeroom area with a 3 seater lounge and TV. Everything in the room was good quality and working well and we were very happy with our stay. TO be in the middle of the awe inspiring valley was well worth the cost of the room.   "We were here in May a great time to visit the park. This resort is off the beaten path! When driving to the place for the first time I was sure I had made a mistake ( thank-goodness for GPS Navigation). It didn't seem that any thing could be tucked back down the road so remotely. But there it was! ..." The cabins are nicely appointed and roomy.The common recreation areas were very nicely landscaped. Would have liked to have a down comforter on the bed and magnification mirror in bathroom. It is true that there is no electronic use in rooms, which was just great for an experience like this. There was Wi-fi available in rec center. We used the jacuzzi only once after a long hike, it did tend to get crowded later. An additional one would be a great addition to the resort. One of the guides suggested the hike to the Hetch-Hetchy resevoir which we did and it was great. We were pleasantly surprised that the food at the restaurant/tavern was so good.   "My husband and I stayed at Evergreen Lodge in a Standard Cabin, about 1 hour from the Yosemite Valley floor. I can't say enough good things about this place. Front desk staff were so welcoming and knowledgeable, I felt like part of the family. The cabins were very comfortable and warm, en suites wer..."e very clean and atmosphere was second to none. We were so impressed that on our second day, instead of driving back down to the valley we opted to stay closer to the lodge and do a hike at Hetch Hetchy. We also did the nature trail walk around the grounds of Evergreen Lodge which was nice. Restaurant was great and the shop also had pre-made sandwiches and goodies to buy for the days hiking.
