  "We stayed at Haus Arkona for a couple of days during the last week of April and enjoyed it thoroughly. The room was very nice, overlooking the main street. Sellin is charming, the hotels and shops are almost Victorian architecture-- as befitting a seaside resort from the end of the 19th century. ..."The Sellin pier is just a short walk away. A boat tour is available there to tour the chalk cliffs and it also stops in Binz. The Haus Arkona staff was friendly and most helpful. " More >

  "Recently, I had the opportunity to stay at the Haus Arkona (07.05. - 10.05.13), in Sellin. I was pleasantly surprised at the vast positive development the little, romantic town of Sellin has undergone. The famous Wilhelmstrasse is a beautifully re-decorated street with many Villas changed to Hotels...." The Haus Arkona has nicely decorated and fully equipped rooms. My large room was furnished with a kichenette, thus great for families with small childrens. Albeit, a cozy Bistro serves a sumptious breakfast with a friendly service, they also have other food during the entire day. The attached bathroom, with my room, offered all amenities and a clean shower. The doublebed in my room was very comfortable and cozy, with the typical German bed spreads. All in all, I must say that I enjoyed my small break away from a hectic pace and this was possible with the peacful atmosphere I enjoyed at the Haus Arkona......will be back soon! " More >
