  "Nicely done B&B, helpful and friendly staff clean rooms and beautiful views. The breakfast was plentiful and good, we also had one of our dinners there and it was also very good. The weather wasn't great while we were in Tuscany but they helped us find things to do, cooking class at a nearby winery,..." hiking excursion etc... All in all a very pleasant stay. My only real gripe is that it was simply too long a drive from the nearest towns, that said it's seclusion may be a positive for others. " More >

  "We stayed at Romitorio di Serelle for one week in May, and we have nothing to fault. We fell in love with the beautiful property, it's atmosphere and perfect location. During our two-week stay in Italy, this was the highlight by far, and everyone in our travel company loved this wonderful place. ..." We stayed in the il Moro apartment located in the building near the pool and, contrary to another reviewer, found the apartment to have everything we needed to comfortably accommodate meals for six adults and three children. Lots of pots and pans so we could cook meals from the fresh produce we bought at the supermarkets in either Poggibonsi or Castellina in Chianti. During our stay we had unseasonably cold and wet weather, and although most properties in Tuscany (from our understanding) turn off the heat in early May, they had left the floor heating on in the apartment, and the bathrooms were also nice and warm. The owners and staff were thoughtful, generous and most helpful. The location is ideal: nestled in the Tuscan hillsid..."e, though not far from a good highway which allows easy day trips to the Tuscan hill towns and major sites (Siena, Volterra, San Gimi, Lucca, Greve, Florence, etc.) You can sightsee all day if you like, and then enjoy the quiet countryside in the evening. Just beautiful. We'd love to go back some day -- actually met some people while there that had been going back every year for almost 10 years! A good place for a family trip (we were there with 3 generations), a honeymoon, a quiet getaway, or a wedding. A garden wedding would be lovely. Highly recommend. " More >
