The lodge was beautiful, very modern and really clean. The location is great for exploring we enjoyed a day in York and a trip to Bridlin..."gton. A short trip down the road you will find a large Tesco which is really handy. The weather wasnt great whilst we were there but we still enjoyed lots of time in the hot tub, also the temperature of the lodge was perfect we never needed to use the fire once. They are still building on the site but this wasnt a issue it certainly isnt a bulding site. Would definately recommend if your looking for a relaxing break in a good location with a Fab hot tub. Four stars rather than five fo..."r usual reasons - in order to take space for the ensuite, the room was a little cramped, and the plumbing had problems with rather slow drainage from sink and shower. But these were minor problems and overall we would recommend this guest house and come again. " More >
