Unfortunately, and absolutely through no fault of the hotel owners, the taxi driver, whilst on route to collect us from the airport, had a serious accident (thankfully he has recovered). That said, the owners (Filippo and Roberta) attempted to phone me, tried to get a message to me at the airport and were even intending on coming to collect me. The village of Salo on Lago di Garda is a special place we stayed 3 nights but we wish we would have stayed for a week. For people visiting from North America you should really stay at this hotel it is won..."derful in every way. The Deluxe Lake View rooms looking out on the lake are very relaxing plus there is a nice deck to sit and watch the world go by.
