After getting in a little late (agree with the traveler who had trouble with GPS finding the location) we were warmly greeted by Hugo. He and Magda are wonderful, accommodating owners. We ate that evening at Le Brooklyn, a pizza place down the street. The owner's wife (he did not speak much English and we very little French) sat down with us and we had a lively discussion with our excellent pizza & wine. The breakfast the next morning at the B&B was lovely in the beautiful dining room filled with antiques. Thiers is a lovely town but appears to be suffering from the economic downturn. If you are ever in this area, be sure and make an overnight stop at the Maison Conchette...you will not regret the stay. " More >
