  "We spent a very pleasant and relaxing week at Les Marroniers in the Trouville room. It was on the ground floor and very spacious and well furnished. The bathroom was good sized and had a bath with a shower. The pictures you see on the website are very accurate. It was really cold out, but we wer..."e cozy and comfortable in our room and enjoyed being able to make tea whenever we wanted. Breakfast was lovely. Christine makes the best yogurt I have ever had, and her tarts and other treats are delicious, too. The apple juice from local apples is amazing. Local cheeses, meats, and breads were always available. It was quite a good start to our day. It is not so easy to find this B&B but there are very explicit directions on the website. Use them if your GPS, like ours, tries to take you up a fenced in hillside. Once you have found it, it will be easy to return. We really liked being out in the countryside, but I don't think it would work if you do not have your own transportat... " More >

  "Gorgeous views over the interesting and picturesque surrounding countryside added to our enjoyment of the Honfleur room. Although our hostess was about half an hour late arriving home to allow us to check in at about 5pm, my kids (4 and 7) made themselves at home in the huge garden while we waited. ..."The room was spacious, clean and thoughtfully furnished, and Madame was very helpful with regards to local restaurants that would be open on Monday night (the one in Beuvron-en -Auge is highly recommended - i forget it's name). My son and husband made friends with the 9 yr old son of the household - it seems soccer transcends lack of english/french skills and we enjoyed wandering in the woods below the house. Breakfast was lovely - including delicious local cheeses. I would definitely return should I be fortunate to be in the region again. " More >
