The walk (?) to the nearest lift (the nursery slope drag I presume) was I think ruled out by Mamiray being so low down in the village - a long climb to get even to Edelweiss (which was 2 minutes from the drag lift). To counter the "no food on the bus" comment, Yes that's quite true but I would add that on our return to the Airport the crew at Cool Bus were really excellent and provided free impromptu baggage storage for several hours while we explored Geneva. So on balance I think you would be well advised to stick with them.   "Tim and Beckie made our group (6 adults/ 6 children) very welcome in the beautiful resort of La Rosiere. Beckie was very efficient in sorting out the organisation of lift passes/ ski hire and ESF lessons for the children before we arrived and Tim was waiting at Geneva airport to transfer us to the r..."esort. He also helped each morning transferring us all up to the slopes which definitely helped (about a 10 minute walk back in the evening) The chalet has a beautiful sitting room/ dining area with the most fabulous views over distant mountains... and very good meals/ delicious teas were enjoyed round the big table. We all loved the hot tub outside on the decking. The children went in first, followed by the adults... this was really the icing on the cake! " More >

  "Had a great holiday here in March 2013. This was my first chalet holiday and from this experience would deinitly book a chalet holiday again! The crystal rep was very friendly and useful when wanting to book lessons etc. Our room (room 4)was probably not the best in the chalet but it was spacious..." and the chalet staff clean as often as you would like them too. Window in the sleeping area doesn't open so even with the window at the bottom of the stairs open it was boiling at night. No room keys- not an issue for us but worth noting. Our chalet hosts Jordan and Anna were great- they would cook eggs however you wanted them in a morning, with a hot option always available as well as bread and cereals. The afternoon cakes were always delicious and the 3 course evening meals were fantastic. Our chalet really did test the claim of unlimited wine! My only criticism would be that the portion sizes of the mains could be a little bigger- fine for me but the men were always enquiring if there... " More >
