In the evening, when we usualy arrived from the trip, Mistr Dante Miani and his wife Eurica prepared for us four courses dinner menu. Everything for food and drink was home made in the farm by hand, and was absolutely deliciuos. The bottle of wine for dinner was commonplace. Mr. Miani opened wine minimum two hours before, so wine was excellent, full taste and full bouguet. For dinner he served just his signature wine UNO-NOVE-ZERO-TRE Superiore 2005 or Reserva 2003. The setting is idyllic and such a wonderful, peaceful contrast to the crowds of the city. Maria puts on a delicious feast every night, so you don't have..." to worry about searching for a good place to eat. The hosts are very welcoming and helpful. They gave us tips on the best places to visit, including the fantastic hot springs down the road. But they're also very happy to leave you in peace if all you want to do is sit in the garden with a bottle of wine staring out at the view. The indigo room we had was lovely. You need a car to get to Quercia Rossa as it is 4km off the main road down a very bumpy track. But the old Fiat Panda we'd hired bounced its way there OK. Overall I would highly recommend a visit.
