The owners are wonderful people and it's a cute and small 3 room inn. The food was FANTASTIC! Cooked by the owner daily, if..." you don't get the breakfast/dinner you really are missing out!! You can also get the meals on some days only/if you have dietary restrictions can let them know and they will adjust it to your needs. It was such a great value too, and he wouldn't stop bringing out food. There is also all you can drink awamori( okinawa liquor) for 300 yen ($3). Just a really friendly place to stay, and it's close to Maehama Beach, and not too far drive from Hirara.   "A lovely place for a short break on Miyakojima"
  "A 45 minute flight from Naha (Okinawa) and a 10 minute drive from the Miyakojima airport (cheap taxi or hotel does run a shuttle bus), this place is a bit of a blast from the past. It's quite an old resort set out on its own on a beautiful stretch of beach. Nicely landscaped. Putting golf and pitch ..."and putt out the back with swimming pools (1 large, 1 for kids and 1 for scuba divers) out the front. There are 2 wings. I would recommend the 'Coral Wing' on floors 7, 8 or 9 if you go. Our first room had no wi-fi!! We only found out by asking casually for the password! So they moved us the second day to a room with perfect wifi and a lovely view (864). However, the second room had no bilingual on the TV (which the first room did), the fridge was rubbish and the kettle was a thousand years old (they changed it happily). No English channels on the TV and no English papers in this resort - I think it was designed for Japanese back in the good old days of the 80's and 90's. Still - the service... " More >
