My husband and I ate at this restaurant during our holiday in Rarotonga. We sat right on the beach and could here the ocean. The service was great and all the waitresses where friendly and attentive. Our food was outstanding. We both had the beef wellington (off specials board) for our main and it was absolute perfection! We also shared... More

Good food, good service, great atmosphere! Enjoyed our 50th wedding anniversary - especially the complimentary bottle of champagne!

We went there twice in our week in Rarotonga. Lovely food, yummy cocktails and good service. The ambience is much better if you can sit outside, but that is weather dependent.

This was by far the best place we ate in our week long stay in Raro. We booked a table and got seated out on the beach which made for a great setting. I ordered the fish of the day that happened to be fresh tuna which came out perfectly cooked with crisp season vegies and a tangy lime seasoning.... More

This restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside but once inside you realise what a wonderful location it has with a nicely decorated internal seating area and then tables right down almost to the sea shore. It was a lovely warm evening and we sat on the beach under the stars. The service was just right with a very... More

Initially I was put off this restaurant by the red & white plastic in the website photo's and what looked like poor food photo's. Fortunately the OH wanted to try it, so we went. Well worth it and we went back for more a couple of days later. For those without transport, Vaima offer a (complementary) pick up/drop off service... More

I enjoyed the sand on my feet while eating under a lit up tree on Valentine's Day. The food was gooood, I got the curry something, just ask what is the most popular ordered thing, that was it. The servers were fine, the presumably bar-owners weren't the friendliest when I went to use my ccard at the bar, just an... More

We were really looking forward to our meal at Vaima, unfortunately we were disappointed. I had the seafood curry. The flavors were nice but the fish in the curry was so overcooked and chewy it tasted like chicken. My partner seemed to enjoy his chicken dish.

Great service, and a beachfront table near the lapping water, if you book early. Great homemade desserts ( especially the fruit pavlova!) Wonderful curries and seafood, and smiling Polynesian girls to help you choose. Highly recommended.

Right on the beach, food was excellent & Very romantic a must if you are in the area - with one drink each meal was around 80 bucks which is pretty average on the island. Best meal on the island.
