I loved Sushi-Zanmai and i loved even more this particular restaurant. Staff was helpful and chief served us a lot of free mini-dishes. Sushi was amazing as usual. It wasn't expensive to be in Tokyo. a must visit!!!!

After reading reviews people say that the tsukiji location of zanmai is the best, so we decided to fo there, howeve, the ginza/tsukiji location was really difficult to find, I recommend asking some one on the street for directions. We recommend getting to tuna set (3000yen) comes with 2 fatty tunas, 2 medium fat, 2 no fat, 2 tuna ships... More

The only thing about this restaurant is that sushis melt too quickly in your mouth. Just to say how fresh the fish is, last time I went, I saw a chef picking a fish out of the aquarium in front of me and prepare it for customers. Wish I had ordered that!

The restaurant is near to Asakusa most famous tourist attraction; SensojiTemple. If you are facing Kaminari Gate (Kaminarimon before going into the temple; the first big gate before nakamise and the temple) the restaurant is about 100 meter on your left. We arrived at noon on April 5, 2013 and needed to wait for only 10 mins to be seated.... More

Overall really good sushi, and great value. The sashimi is high quality. The miso variety is a treat: try the seaweed one or the crab one.

My partner and I arrived at Tsukiji rather late at around 11am and the first time we went past the main restaurant at 4-11-9 Tsukiji, it had quite a long line around the corner. However, after walking around the market for another 30 mins or so, we managed to be 4th in line so it demonstrates how quickly the lines... More

...in tsukiji is delicious, but other than that they are fairly standard. For a traveler who isn't used to Japanese sushi, any of these restaurants can definitely be seen as incredible, but they are fairly average for Tokyo.

I have been to the Tsukiji Sushi Zanmai, many times and has allways been Fantastic. You may then think why i have i rated it so badly? Well all the other stores are not listed separatly on this site. A chain is only as strong as the weakest link, and that goes for restaurant chains as well. I went to... More

We went there late night stright from the airport. First I was surprised as people were shouting/ jelling at us, but my Japanese colleagues told that it's part of the welcome ceremony. We took a place at the bar and the beer was served with sea food pickles. As main course we had a big sashimi/ sushi plate which was... More
