The waitter was very mean, didn't propose any drinks or water. I wonder if what a eate was home made, because it had the same taste you can have eatting a supermarket box reddy to heat.
Sometimes the Gallic off-hand attitude offends, but at other times it can be amusing, as it was in this canalside restaurant. The meal was simple and filling although nothing really special. The staff were of the surly slightly abrasive French variety who might be better suited to a life in the nearby Einville salt mines, but the food was hot, plentiful and quite tasty.

This restaurant was recommended by a local. We asked where to get local Alsacian food. This restaurant could accommodate the fine diner or casual eater. The service was good and the bathrooms emaculate.
