Every time I visit my hometown, I always go to Lola with my parents at least once. Great food and great service. Sometimes it's better to make a reservation as it gets busy. Fantastic Puerto Rican food with a twist!

I love this restaurant. The ambiance is great and so is the food. I have visited this restaurant on three ocassions and it has never failed to fulfill our high expectations. The complimentary bread with balsamic vinegar is awesome. The service is very good. I recommend Lola for its location and for its creative cuisine.
The best cup of coffee we had on our trip, so strong I added lots of hot milk. Service was a bit slow, but, hey, we were on vacation. But some New Yorkers, waiting to be served before they got on their tour bus, were very annoyed....just made us smile in amusement.
As other reviewers stated the location gives you pause. However, the ambiance was lovely. Being valentines day they only had a special menu, which was not in English. They kindly found an English speaking employee to explain the menu to us. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The pace was relaxing and unrushed. We would definitely return here for...

The service here was excellent, but our expectations were excellent Puerto Rican Cusine and although it was good, it wasn't the best we had on our trip.
The service was a little slow but good. The food was excellent and the place was great. The bread is very good and all the food, that my friends and me, select had a great taste. Definitely recommend that place.
Lola is a very good restaurant but the service is a bit inattentive and slow. The ceviche is wonderful as is the bacon wrapped pork. I had the cassava Mofongo with chicken creole, the chicken creole was outstanding but I think I prefer plantain mofongo better, still tasty. The service was okay but we had to ask for a replacement...

We've had mediocre meals during the 7 days we were in Puerto Rico and we were surprised by the great dinner we had at Lola. The service was great, they spoke English, and the ambience was nice. The food was above average and I'd recommend going if you're looking for a place to eat in downtown Ponce.
Friendly but slow service – wait long for food, inattentive service. Over-cooked fish - come on, no excuse for this on an island. Decent atmosphere sitting outside – while this helped counter the slow service, overall impression of marginal service + just OK food – not so good – would not go again - there are better options in the...

We had wanted to go to a different restaurant in Ponce but discovered it had closed so our second choice was Lola's. We had a nice dinner, salads and wonderful steaks. The mushroom risotto was to die for--I would go back for that dish alone!
