Okay, there were some locals around. However, uninspiring food, touristy atmosphere and well... Nothing more to say.
That's what I heard as I was getting ready to leave. I was quite taken back. It was our first few hours in Mexico and were trying to figure everything out. Granted, I hadn't left the "usual", but I've never been asked for more!! The food was ok. The drinks were good. Overall it was very average, with very high... More
We have been coming to Cancun for many years and this restaurant is always on our list to go back to. Excellent food, drinks and service. The salsas are fresh and have a good kick. Enchiladas, burritos, mole, tenderloin & shrimp kebabs and garlic shrimp are all soooooo good, you won't be disappointed by any of these dishes. One very... More
The meal itself was good. The ceviche was great and the tacos and nachos were good as well. The chairs were extremely uncomfortable but the most uncomfortable thing was our experience at the end of the meal with our waiter, Francisco. He brought us the check and made it a huge point to tell us that the tip was not... More
In actual fact, it was fantastic food and service....what let it down was being chased out of the restaurant telling shouting at us "tip wasn't included..." when we had left a 10 percent tip on top of the bill. When we counted it out in front of him he said "it's usually 15 percent!! What a way to end a... More
This restaurant is full of gringos but i gave it a chance.Sat down got the sides like nachos and sauces. When you sense that the sauces is very bland on a restaurant, you get a picture how good the chef is.Ordered the Burrito Arrachera and it was ok.The menu is geared toward tourist with pastas etc.The funny part is that a... Unpretentious establishment with tasty food in the heart of Downtown Cancún. The prices are more than reasonable and they have a number of drink deals that make a meal even more affordable. Wasn't there for the live music, but our dinner was delicious and filling. Again, this is a restaurant that isn't cheap where portions are concerned. Service is friendly,... More
I went to Los Arcos because it was convenient and I was too hungry to "shop" menus. I was too early for the music and wasn't drinking, so I missed the much touted drink specials. Perhaps it was unfair to order enchiladas con mole because I assume it's not a dish unique to this area. It was very bland with... More
We found this restaurant returning from a hospital and saw musicians walking into the restaurant, so that was our recommendation. Half of the restaurant sits outside next to the sidewalk under awnings they roll up and down depending on the weather, and half is inside with several TVs tuned to soccer matches. Our waiter, Antonio, met us at the entrance,... More
Los Arcos in a great place in Cancun Downtown! They have great food, reasonable prices and really the best live rock music in area!!! :) They have also promotional prices if you buy 2 or 3 drinks in one shot. You must try their pasta and stuffed potatoes.
