Description: The popular Cozumel Restaurants Casa Mission, La Mission and Parilla Mission have brought their concept to Playa del Carmen. La Mission offers generous portions of seafood, steaks and Mexican specialities at affordable prices. And their "If you don"t like it, you don't pay it" slogan is hard to beat. Proof of this is the preference of locals and visitors ranking us #2 restaurant in Tripadvisor.

Along with the three La Mission restaurants in Cozumel, there is now one in Playa del Carmen. On a recent evening there I ordered the grilled lobster. It was a fairly good size lobster tail perfectly grilled and served with drawn butter and garlic sauce. It included a small portion of rice, mixed vegetables, and a baked potato. At twenty... More

I visited La Mission on a Sunday evening with my daughter. Bottom line: decent food, decent service, and decent prices, but not worth going out of your way to try. The details: Atmosphere: Pretty casual. Open-air restaurant. Pretty warm the night we were there, but when they turned on the big fans, it was comfortable enough. There were only three... More

Good was wonderful, the gardens neat and clean, the service was top notched! The drinks were good, not watered down. Great food at a great price.

All things that we tried were incredible. The food was super fresh. The decoration is not the best but the place is clean and the service and cooking was excellent, we tried lobster shrimp and the fish (that I cannot write or spell the name) was outstanding

This week, my wife and I had a wonderful experience at La Mission. Having stayed in Cozumel several times, the original Mission is a favorite of ours. We were delighted to find the PDC location. The tortilla-lime soup starter was absolutely wonderful. I'm not usually a big soup eater, but I found myself soaking up the last of the bowl... More

Everything was good from the Lime Soup to the sea food platter and garlic bread. This is definitely one of the better places that we have found in Playa over the years. The only disappointment is the lack of dessert items other than ice cream. Will definitely go back again while we are here.

Just a short walk from 5 ta AVE and 8th St, you will find this gem. We basically went for the lobster and they exceeded my expectations. The service was amazing and our server was very accommodating to my husband special request. He wanted the black bean soup, which is served as a smooth bean blend, with raw onions and... More

I cannot imagine how this restaurant gets such good reviews. Our five star hotel made a 7.45 reservation for us and asked for a special table. When we arrived we were asked if we had a reservation, the manager for the evening did not even bother to listen to whether we had a reservation or not. There was a lovely... More
