Even though it happens every day, there is something magical about a sunset, especially sitting on a terrace high above the rolling surf, witnessing a ceremonial tribute to the sun performed by the wait staff at Sunset Da Mona Lisa. Go for the view, but be prepared for one of the most romantic evenings you will ever experience. There may... More

Absolutely gorgeous location! Get there about 30 minutes to an hour before sunset for the best effect. The food was fantastic. Waiters were excellent. The entire experience was wonderful. The prices were quite high but it was definitely worth it for a special night.

We were there for the sunset. It was so beautiful and the tradition of blowing conch shells was a nice touch. Our waiter was fun and attentive. The food was so delicious and beautiful too. The photographer on staff took pictures of us with our cameras and then invited us to look through their big telescope at the moon. He... More

For that special occasion you cannot miss with dinner at Sunset Da Mona Lisa. The view is spectacular, especially at sunset. The tables are arranged outside at various levels down towards the Sea of Cortez. At sunset the staff stops and blows through Conch Shells at each of the four directions, north, south, east and west per an ancient tradition.... More

Thank you for sharing your comments. It´s a pleasure to know that you enjoyed your experience with us; as for the ceremony we blow the seashells right when the sun goes down as a way to offer thanks for all we have, it would be a honor have you dining with us again. More

This was my second time here. Sit outside if weather permits. This is a very special place for an intimate dinner or for a larger family celebration. A must when in Cabo. Highly recommended.

Thank you very much for the review. Absolutely the weather is a very important part to be seated outside, beside this part that we can´t control, we do work hard on all the other aspects to create an amazing experience for our guest. We would love to make your third reservation very soon More

The view is spectacular as seen in the website pictures. The sky turns beautiful colors as the sun sets. The food was good to very good, not excellent. Our entrees were salty. I ordered the branzino "souffle" which was more like a fish casserole, dense and too salty. Probably best to stick to the pasta dishes here. Service was average.

Apparently this is the hot spot because it was so hard to get a reservation for around 7. We specifically wanted that time so we could get a table to watch the sunset. While the sunset lived up to expectations....the food quality was decent. What they lost in quality they tried to make up on presentation but I'd rather get... More

We appreciate your comments, in our constant efforts to improve, this is always one fo the best ways to do it, listen to our clients. Upstairs from the restaurant we have our wine and pizza lounge, it’s always a more casual option for only drinks or a casual dinner, and still an amazing view… Sunset Point. We hope to have... More

I went with a group of friends who are all locals and Mexican nationals. It would have been a great experience but for the naked attempt, which I have gotten used to in Cabo, of trying to get us for extra cash, by the waiters there. We showed up somewhat late, maybe 8:30-9, and they accomidated us well, with a... More

My friends got vouchers They have fish and some pasta but is not a well rounded menu for average diners. At sunset (which is the best part) they come out with a gong and shell blowers and celebrate the sunset. Sort of pricey but good wine selection. Would be a good anniversary celebration location. Probably would be good for some... More

We are sorry to hear we didn’t fully meet your expectations. We are a seafood and Italian restaurant, but we try to accommodate a larger variety for everyone. We also have our wine and pizza lounge, Sunset Point, which still provides magnificient views, a more casual menu and you still see the shell ceremony, maybe it would be an option... More
