Don't think I have ever eaten Italian food while traveling in Mexico, but really enjoyed Tiramisu. Setting was beautiful along the marina, candlelit tables. The service was excellent, wine great and the spaghetti carbonara was delicious, as was the bolognese with sausage and meatballs, Enjoyed the bruschetta on a softer bread but great fresh flavors.
Thanks for your nice words. At times it seems as if there are more Italians than Mexicans in this part of Mexico. Hahaha.... And the food is very similar, based on a lot of tomatoes, cheese and other fresh ingredients. Of course, the Mexican food goes to the spicy end of this spectrum.
