For the best Mexican food in town this is the place!
Last year, in Puerto Aventuras, we ordered Take Out from Dos Chilies. We brought it back to our condo and raved about it the rest of our trip, so this year, with the same intention to get Take Out, we decided there that we would eat at Dos Chilies. Deciding to enjoy the atmosphere was what someone starting a two... More
We were firstly impressed by the excellent and friendly service. We had been a bit reluctant to try other restaurants in the central PA area but this experience re-opened us. We had an excellent waiter and ordered from the Mexican and American cuisine selections with great results/satisfaction. Thanks Dos Chiles for a great experience last week!
The service was good, but the food did not seem fresh and the sauces tasted some what bland.
There are better alternatives locally. When we arrived there was no one else sitting there- which should have been an indicator. The guacamole was tasteless. The pico de gallo over-peppered. It was mexican food prepared for Americans.
With all our visits to Puerto Aventuras over the years, this was our first visit to this restaurant. As we are usually here during low season, we find the prices in all the restaurants somewhat pricey and usually travel to Playa for more choices. However, we did try this location and found it to have good food but, the prices... More
This restaurant has outdoor seating with a view of the dolphin pens. The food was authentic and tasty, and we enjoyed the Mexican specialties. Great beef fajitas and enchiladas. I came here specifically for the Yucatan Lime Soup one evening when I wasn't feeling well, and it totally hit the spot, with a light and flavorful chicken/lime broth and a... More
Although I've stayed in Puerto Aventuras 8 times in last 4 years, I've never stopped at Dos Chili's as I always thought it appeared touristy. However, I'm glad we stopped last night for a quick bowl of Lime Soup. Wow, there must have been an entire chicken breast in the savory broth. My companion and I shared a bowl and... More
The food was okay, the chicken enchiladas I ordered were smothered in onions, but otherwise delicious. The margaritas were not the best, but the entire meal was very inexpensive for our group of four. The place was quiet and we had a nice night.
Nothing about this restaurant particularly made it stand out from the many others at the marina. However, we were looking for some straightforward Mexican food on our first night in the area after a long travel day and it fit the bill perfectly. Service was efficient and food was good.
