The Lakeview lounge is located within the Fairmont Lake Chateau. We had a great view of Lake Louise from out table. On a cold winter's day, I would highly recommend the spiked hot chocolates. We were served by Ashley, who did a great job. We has a Traditional Spiced Butter Chicken with Mango Relish, which tasted excellent, and a Grilled... More

The wine paring menu was excellent and I really enjoyed the wine choices. I started with the mushroom and black truffle soup really good, then the lamb cutlets again excellent. I went for the mango dessert this was the least impressive of the meal but still good but not memorable. We tried to eat there again but it was booked... More

The lounge was a nice place to enjoy a beer and cocktail with a sharing plate before other dinner reservations. The atmosphere and service is very 'Fairmont', being quieter, professional but not overly friendly or chatty. Not to say this is bad service or atmosphere, just maybe not for me. I would go again fro a special occasion drink.

From 5pm the Lakeview Lounge at Chateau Lake Louise does tapas, and sitting down to shared plates and wine is a super way to relax with friends. Our waitress was wonderful, big glasses of water all round to start and refilled constantly throughout. what a great way to start a night when you are struggling to select your wine and... More

Enjoyed the afternoon tea service the day we arrived. It was perfect, sat at the huge window overlooking the Lake. Tea service included a glass of Prosecco, fruit salad, assorted sandwiches, scones with creme and jams, assorted pastries and a very good selection of teas. Pricey, but skipped dinner because so much offered at tea. A wonderful way to spend... More

We ordered the Nachos and the Bolognaise and did not mind paying the steep prices providing we got a good meal. The Nachos were pretty sparse with very few toppings and some burnt chips. The Bolognaise was supposed to have Bison and Elk but I think you would have to perform a DNA test to find any of these ingredients.... More

No trip to Lake Louise would be completed without dropping in for a meal at either the Lounge or the Dining Room. We chose the Lounge as it was a flying visit for us. Request for a window seat, you won't be disappointed by the view, although there might be a wait for this. The food is not too bad,... More

I have been to the Lakeview Lounge many times. I usually just drop by when I am visiting for a ski trip and have had many memorable memories sitting there enjoying the view and having something to eat or drink. This place is one of a select few in the world where you can combine a view that is out... More

Great view of the lake, but the food is a little expensive. Its nice to try once, but then go to the Strube or the Glacier Saloon.

I was recently entertaining a good friend and her daughter and one of the highlights of the girls visit was skating in front of the ice sculptures and a lazy lunch in the Lakeview Lounge. We enjoyed professional service, good food and a million dollar view.
