Expect to pay more than a reasonable price at the pub -- hey, you're in Lake Louise so that's somewhat expected. $15 to $17 for an average burger and fries. It does have a nice pub atmosphere with TVs and the wait staff are nice.

OUtstanding service; my husband thought the Caribou back straps were outstanding. The wine list is amazing and our only disappointment was to have not visited the cellar! The young Swiss waiter was a delight.

We recently traveled to Lake Louise for skiing. A fellow skier recommended this gem or we would never had known about it. First of all the ambience is wonderful: warm, inviting and romantic. There is a beautiful sitting area with a blazing fireplace right off the entry of the restuarant. One of the owners (2 gentlemen) took our coats and... More

We went with a group of 8 as needed some place different to dine while staying at the Chateau. The restaurant is very cozy with a wood burning fieldstone fireplace and plenty of windows to see the falling snow and lights. The staff was excellent and knew every little detail about each food item and the wines. The waiter reviewed... More

Decided to book dinner here based on all the glowing reviews I read here. The atmosphere was lovely...the fire made it nice and cozy. Service was very good, our waiter was very helpful in recommending a wine from the huge wine list. Enjoyed the wine very much. The food was also very good, just not as exceptional as I was... More

Cozy and comfortable old world decor. Attentive (also old world) service. Excellent food, impeccably presented. Not inexpensive but worth the price of admission!

Whilst the food in the Post Hotel Restaurant was very good (and the menu was interesting) I felt that the overall experience was not the best. We waited a long time for our starters then the entrees arrived almost immediately. Our waiter was patronising and appeared to be bored, and could not answer my questions about the vegetables. For this... More

What can I say that has not already been said....just WOW!!! Memorable for sure!!! The wine list is legendary, at least a 30 minute read to get through it. The chateaubriand for two was cooked perfectly, melted like butter on my mouth. A great place for a special dinner, well worth the money.

Expensive, but worth it. The spa is small but perfectly formed. The massages are out of this world. We also had supper at the Post and were treated to the most lovely food and sumptuous wine. Again, expensive, but worth it

Ate at the restaurant at the Post Hotel in Lake Louise for my wife's 50th birthday and Wow! Maybe it was the friends with us or maybe it was the fresh falling snow but this place is special. Exposed birch timbers and string lights lead to quaint table sittings and and incredible fare. The service was outstanding. Knowledgeable, accommodating and... More
