Sat on patio that has huge plate glass windows to shelter from cool breezes. A variety of items on menu. We chose scallops with sausage with appetizer and the sundries tomato clam chowder. Both were served piping hot and very good. Main courses were very good but personally the Banoffee cake for dessert was the reason I would go back.... More

I have goner here a few times and recommended it to friends. The food, service, and atmosphere are always great.

The atmosphere and the setting are perfect for a relaxing evening. The food is a bit over priced for what you get. I would recommend the Chicken Pacifica over the New York Steak. My steak was under cooked and chewy. Be careful of all the different sets of stairs. I almost tripped coming back from the bathroom as the bottom... More

My husband and I had booked an overnight stay at the nearby hotel on the river in Kamloops. It was the easiest decision to dine at Storms and its riverside terrace was perfect for such a beautiful warm evening. We enjoyed lovely pre-dinner drinks including a cocktail and our starter of calamari was very enjoyable. We ordered prime rib of... More

It is situated on the river and offers good quality food. The inside is in need of an update, but the menu offered a good selection. It was well cooked & well presented & reasonably priced. It is best to book, particularly if you want an outside table by the river.

Storms has a beautiful location on the Thompson River but the ambience needs some updating. The inside of the restaurant requires an update, even if it is just laminating table tops and putting down some new flooring. The outside deck is kept in good condition. The meals are not consistent. Sometimes good and other times just ho hum. It would... More

Well, four of us went out for dinner on a Wednesday night. There was a big party underway, but service remained fast and efficient, as did the kitchen. This place has a REALLY WIDE menu selection, something for just about anyone. Two of my friends enjoyed their prime rib & seafood stuffed chicken breast, but the third was less than... More

I made sure we had reservations well ahead of time. I must say we have been to Storms many times including V-Day in the past. We arrived just before six o'clock and ordered our food just shortly after we where seated. We only had water with our meal as we don't drink. We waited over a half hour for our... More

My wife and I decided to try Storms as previous reviews we saw on tripadvisor were pretty good and it was right next door to our hotel (Riverland Inn & Suites). Not having to drive anywhere was a bonus even before the experience at Storms. We started with salads that were unique, an adventure for the palette and simply delicious.... More

My husband and I went to dinner tonight at Storms. We had no reservation, but we went early (about 5:15pm) and had no problem getting a nice table by the window. By the time we left at about 6:30 it was getting busy. We ordered the Spinach and Artichoke Dip with Tortillas chips as our appetizer. It was absolutely delicious,... More
