Visited with my husband. We couldn't talk above the noise. The wine was fine, but expensive, and the beers not too inspiring.
Popped in for a quick beer in a place that had a great view of English Bay. The 3 Brits turned out to have an outstanding Chocolate Pumpkin Stout as their seasonal brew. I suggest that you zip straight over to have one if you are reading this in October of 2013. The service, by a lovely gal with honey-auburn... More
On a pleasant September evening we sat on the terrace overlooking the sea. This is a nice location in English Bay. Menu is good, food quality is good, and service is good. Price reasonable.
Food was fine and I liked the mustard on the side of the beef dip. The burger and beer special is pretty good. Service is kind of poor and slow. Never got water we asked for. If you want to eat with a view of English Bay I would recommend getting take out and eating down on the seawall. Alcohol... More
While there are many pubs to choose from, The Three Brits is located right on Denman & Beach Street, so the patio seats have an awesome view of the beach/bay/water and people walking everywhere - the staff is pleasant and the food is great - try the Dip Sandwich w/Alberta beef and the greens salad w/goat cheese & toasted pumpkin... My husband and I were walking around and randomly decided to try eating at the 3 Brits. I'm glad we did! The food was delicious, appropriately portioned, and was creatively presented. The decor of the 3 Brits is quite dark in colour, but the floor to ceiling windows make a comfortable balance. The view of English Bay is lovely, and... More
Good food. Excellent beer. Good beer prices by the pitcher. Excellent service. Located in one of the better sections on Vancouver. Great place to be at sunset. Outdoor area and indoor area that was open to the outside. One of the best burgers I have ever had!!!!!!!!!! Didn't know anything about this place but left very satisfied.
We popped in for a few drinks and ended up staying all night taking part in a weekly pub quiz (we came last) and the four of us shared nibbles-spring rolls, chicken wings, fries, BBQ ribs and several pitchers of various local beers. It was good fun and the locals were very friendly and the pub quiz presenters were a... More
We recent had a meal at the calling and was very disappointed. The food lacked flavor and seemed to be prepped and reheated. For the price they are charging it would be better to go to milestones or cactus club next door. Bad food
