We stopped at this place a couple of times when we were in Victoria. It's a great place for a sandwich and dessert. The service is excellent and the staff is efficient and pleasant.

What a great place for a quick bite for lunch, the food selection was excellent and it all tasted great. Murchies is well organized with a good queuing system to place your orders and then pick them up at the end of the counter. There were plenty of customers moving through and no shortage of servers enjoying their job. This...

We had the opportunity to have tea and goodies twice during our stay in Victoria. It's a fun place with lots of energetic and friendly servers. The option to have a tea latte was a pleasant surprise. The scones, cookies and desserts such as Madelines were very fresh and tasty. There was available tables and chairs inside as well as...

It was early morning on Government Street. I was browsing the local book shops. Just next door to Monroe's Books is Murchies. Lingering smells of coffee, tea and baked goods ask you to come in and find a seat. Seating is a mish-mash and single seats are hard to come by. The selection of homemade fare is good, a nifty...

Murchie's was a great place for lunch one day (tasty sandwiches) and breakfast another day (bacon and eggs on scones). The scones were light and fluffy and tasted fantastic. Murchie's still has a great selection of tea and coffee. Overall, it's the perfect place for a quick meal.
We thought Murchies, being as famous as it is would be more expensive for a pot of tea. We were pleasantly surprised to find that they were not. For $2 Canadian, you get a pot of tea - any of Murchie's selection. Great food items to go with it too.
Went here on a weekend with girlfriends. Some had lunch but I was really wanting a scone. It was perfect, served with some cream and jam. Had a pot of tea, which to my surprise didn't get bitter as it sat. All loved their food and we had lots of space to sit and chat and enjoy our lunch. There is...

Nice tea shop, lots of seating, and the pastries will whet your appetite. Good assortment of sweets.
For years I have had Murchie's Tea shipped to my home, so visiting Murchie's was a bit of a pilgrimage. I knew the tea would be outstanding. I was beyond pleased with the sandwiches and pastries. The chocolate croissant is everything you want a chocolate croissant to be. We initially went in for a snack and ended up having an...

This was always my mom and I's special place growing up. Their tea is wonderful, and their pastries are a highlight of our trips. This is my husbands favorite place in Victoria, we purposely try to book hotels without breakfast included, because going here for breakfast is a ritual for us.
