In the Victoria guide book (2013-2014) the Afternoon Tea is advertised as $48.95 per person, but in reality...on May 1st it goes up to $59.95 for the "Tourist Season", as if we weren't being gouged enough. My daughter, two granddaughters and I have been to Empress Tea Room many times. We have always been treated like we were family. The food and tea is fantastic and the service, outstanding. Keep up the good work! ~Mary

Expensive tea experience but certainly worth every penny. Tea was served which does take you back in time and all the bakery goods were excellent. Everyone in the party enjoyed it immensely. I am ready to go back to this place.
