had dinner here at the recommendation of many locals. it didn't disappoint. the building is an old heritage site with tonnes of character. the seafood was very fresh and the service was top notch. will return again next time i'm in victoria!
They used to have a Winter Feast that was to die for amazing! We went with another couple and LOVED our meals that we shared....and the price was perfect at $50 per couple....those were the days!
Took the wife there for dinner a few times throughout the summer - quality seafood - fresh local halibut and wild salmon, imported sea bass, and dungeness crab and lobstersl live from the tank. Her steak (filet mignon) was the (she said!) best she's ever had. Very reasonably priced food, well chosen local wines, great service - too bad they're...

Chandler's is in a great-looking, heritage building in a perfect location on Wharf Street. I'd been meaning to try it for years and finally did this past summer. Disappointing! Portions were skimpy, blandly prepared, a little overcooked (i.e., dry) and over priced. All four of us left hungry and unimpressed. Too bad the food wasn't as impressive as the room.
have the seafood platter! plenty of yummy assortment and plenty for 2! Nice ambiance and great area to walk around after your meal.
Very handy on Wharf St. near the bridge downtown. Excellent service. When we were there it was closed for lunch, so recommend you call first to make sure. Supposed to have the best fish and chips in Victoria, but we didn't fancy that as a dinner considering all the fantastic fresh fish dinners ont he menu.
Great place to eat! We had an excellent meal with great service. The lobster add on for $12.00 was a deal! We loved the bread and special butter to start with. We also had calamari as an appetizer. It was great! I had the ribeye with the lobster and my husband had king crab legs. Great portion sizes.
Would go...

Needlessly expensive and singularly uninspired. I ordered the trout and it was clearly prepared from frozen, not fresh. With so many better options in the city, there is no need to eat here. Save yourself a bundle and eat instead at the dockside Red Fish, Blue Fish for a true Victoria experience and the freshest, best prepared seafood you could...

I ordered the fish and chips and ate every last bit. Can't remember what my husband had but I do remember he was...
