I love good food and Whistler's excellent restaurants but I'll always have a soft spot for the dogs and the Beaver Tails at Zogs. Many times their late hours have been a saving grace in providing food to absorb some of that excess alcohol consumed in GLC, Longhorn or others! The kids also love the Beaver Tails!

When the legs are aching and you think you can't do one more run, the idea of a chili smothered hotdog gives the strength to get to the base. Zog's is located in Whistler village just off the bottom of the Excalibur (Blackcomb) gondola. You eat outside and enjoy the people watching at the end of a good ski day.... More

Well, what a great little stand. When I 1st started going to the festival this place only served Zog dogs, but as the years moved on someone hit the nail on the head and brain stormed adding burgers! So, instead of paying big money and waiting and sitting around you can walk up to the Zog and have great food... More

Our kids had heard about Beavertails so wanted to try them. They were a little pricey but they were nice enough. Like a flattenned doughnut really. They did other fast food etc there but we were on our way to somewhere else so didn't stop long. Our friends say it's a very popular late-night food venue, after the pubs etc.

It always smelled yummy whenever we would pass by on our way to ski. So our last day at Whistler we had to try their authentic Canadian dish called Poutine, which was french fries, topped with cheese curds and hot gravy poured on top to melt the cheese. Not our favorite meal. Probably ok for skiiers on the go.

Great pit stop to get a grilled hotdog and chili fries. Food is very good and if you don't feel like sitting down at a restaurant this is perfect.

So disappointed they don't offer the savoury options here --- just the over the top sweet options. I'm sure they have shrunk in size too from the ones I got in lake Louise. The service behind the counter was a bit surly but the guy doing the cooking outside was friendly and efficient. We love the burgers and the strange... More
