...but I don't know why. The food is very good, Italian menu, always served hot, lots of food, service is excellent. It's clean, and nice private seating arrangement. Cost is average and less expensive than Olive garden. Good place to eat, IMHO.
Serioulsy how can bad pasta cost this much. Just go through the hall to the Monkey Tree they share a kitchen and the pub food is far better.
I had to overnight in Yellowknife to get home and stopped at Diamante for dinner. The restaurant is right next door to Sam's Monkey Tree Pub so I was not sure what the atmosphere would be like but it was very nice. I especially liked the historical photos of the mines in the area. Service at Diamante's was awesome! All servers are very cheery and certainly know the menu well. The food was delicious...A truly enjoyable occasion. Hats off to those who make Diamantes what it is today.

Five out of Five ………….. We had an enjoyable meal and yes I’d come back again. Five people and not one complaint ……… (Except the wine snob complaining about the cost of a base line bottle of Red Wine and after wife reminding him about Yellowknife’s location … he shut his mouth) Still enjoyed the meal …… “The Wine Snob”
