Really and truly enjoyed our dinner at Arc the Hotel's restaurant. The presentations were well thought of but mot importantly the food was excellent.
Stayed at the hotel on a weekend and had booked a reservation. The restaurant was dead. Had the charcuterie plate at the bar (AWESOME, nice to go and just have that); then I ordered the pumpkin foie gras brulee (delish); followed by the Dan O"Brians beef trip steak. The latter was a HUGE disappointment; with a grisly steak, UNripe tomatoes,... More
Went to a business lunch here. Place is designed with elegance. We ordered the ' catch of the day' which was identified as grilled shrimps. That was awkward- but it worked. The shrimps were perfectly grilled in a Thai curry sauce with perfectly al dente veggies. Couldn't ask for a more perfect dish. Pricey- yes - and perfect for business... More
A bit pricey but it worth, service was impecable too First I got a little warm goat cheese panné, after the waitress broth me a Home made butter made with some cilantro, dry tomato and a bit of garlic than the main dish, the catch of the day (cod covered my roasted red cherries crumbles on top of a crab... Used a different iPhone app to find the place and made a reservation. But when we showed up, they had no idea who we were. They said they only had the room service menu. We were the only ones in the whole place. The food was spectacular. I had the fish and chips and the chips were very good, but... More
I was there for a meeting and ate in a boardroom. The service was exceptional as was the food. The hotel decor is very modern and inviting. The atmosphere even in the boardroom was ambient. The food choices were excellent. The food presentation was so well-done, that I sat and admired the plate long before I tasted. Kudos to the... More
Food is very well prepared & presented. The menu is limited, but with something for just about everyone. The staff are knowledgable & attentive without overdoing it. The atmosphere is very cool & chic.
The restaurant/bar was full when we arrived although it seemed to be one large business party. Pre dinner cocktails were excellent. Our waiter in the restaurant although efficient was bordering on rude. The food is "nouvelle cuisine" as far as portion size goes and its flowery descriptions did not always match the taste. This restaurant would benefit from losing the... More
We ate breakfast here, so this review is specific to that meal only. To me, breakfast has to have three things: great coffee, served hot; a newspaper; eggs cooked the way you want them. The Arc gets 2.5 out of three. My only complaint is the blend of coffee, which is somewhat, weak. But, that aside, breakfast was excellent. The... More
