Great beer selection and good food, especially for the price. It's a comfy pub atmosphere too. Great service.
My wife and I have just returned from trying this place out for the first time. The ambiance is exactly what you want in a pub. The seating is comfortable and efficient. The selection of beer is exceptional especially if you like Belgian beer. I was a bit disappointed that there was no selection from Ireland (still looking for Murphy's... More
Been twice now. Great beers. Slightly overpriced for some (7 dollars for a 25cl). Great selection from all over the world. Tried a few. Service is attentive but not overbearing. Looking forward to going again before I leave.
In general, it's a nice place to hang out with friends, but the service needs to improve, some servers are nice but others are really rude, it's all about your luck the day you go, the variety of drinks is short, understanding that is a beer bar, not everybody likes it, but we like to get together, and sometimes they... Food selection is great too! You have a choice of pub food and more gourmet faire as well. The beer selection on draft was incredible. Bottle selection was intense as well. Staff was extremely friendly and service was fast. It's very close to Rogers Centre, so a good place to stop before or after the baseball game.
The service was great. We got beer samples before ordering a full size beer. Over 50 beers on tap, the good stuff not MGD. Food was inspired with a European flair. Beef stew and frites was delicious, tender, and filling. Burgers and chicken sandwich were excellent and pork schnitzel on point. Less than a mile from Rogers Centre and Theatre... More
Don't bring a large party here. One server for 24 people. Drinks missed all coming out at different times. Several forgotten! Ordered $19.99 rib eye mostly grizzle. Meals all sent out at different times. 3 people waited unusually long. Everyone waited till they were served which by then all cold
If you looking for a great selection of beer, with some decent food and great staff in downtown Toronto this is the place. We came back here 3 times when in Toronto. They have indoor (2 levels) so you can sit out of the sun watching the world go by or sit out the front and enjoy the street. Great... More
